About Mr Nathan White
Nathan White is a specialist orthopaedic knee surgeon, committed to getting you back to your best whatever your age or goals. Mr White has experience in all aspects of knee surgery including sports surgery and joint replacement, along with the fields of knee preservation surgery, cartilage and meniscus transplant, and robotic assisted joint replacement.
Mr White completed training as a physiotherapist in 1999, before continuing to medical training at the University of Melbourne. After orthopaedic training, also in Melbourne, he undertook extended subspecialty training overseas, primarily in the UK and France. This advanced training covered all areas of knee surgery, in particular sports knee injury, knee preservation surgery, and complex revision and robotic knee replacement.
In 2018 Mr White represented the Asia Pacific region on a travelling fellowship sponsored by the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. This involved visitations to teams including the LA Lakers and Pittsburgh Steelers, plus presentation of research lectures at renowned institutions including Johns Hopkins, UCLA, and the Hospital for Special Surgery. In 2018 Mr White also completed a Fellowship in Football Medicine with Chelsea FC in the London, UK.
Mr White primarily consults at Park Clinic’s Melbourne Knee Centre in Kew. He also consults in Werribee, Malvern, Melbourne University Sports, and sees paediatric patients in North Melbourne. He has a public hospital appointment and is a director of the Melbourne Knee Fellowship, training surgeons from abroad in knee surgery. Mr White has published several papers and book chapters on surgery of the knee, and is a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Australian Knee Society along with several other professional organisations.
